William Kentridge (1955–) is a South African, Johannesburg based multimedia artist. His body of work includes media installations, drawings, prints, animations, videos, stage designs, tapestries, sculpture and murals. His works are grounded in politics, science, literature and history, and a lot them are based on collaborative practices.
